I currently care for 12 children. Their age ranges from 3 months to 5 years
Do you care for the same group of kids every day?
Yes.
What is a typical day like for the children? How much time do they spend outside?
A typical day for the children consists of a variety of activities such as reading, writing, yoga, dancing (for more information about a typical day please check out the about us and daily schedule page). The children spend at least 30 minutes a day playing outside, if the weather permits.
What meals and supplies do I need to provide?
I am in the USDA food program, therefore I can provide your child with food. However, if you would like to bring your own food then you'll need to bring breakfast, lunch, and a PM snack. You can either bring it for the whole week or for each individual day. Supplies you need to bring are diapers, wipes, a blanket, and anything else you would prefer to bring for your child.
Can I drop my child off early or pick him up late sometimes?
Yes, occasionally. My hours are from 7 am - 6 pm, however if you need to drop or pick up your child early or late I can manage that. In the morning I have no problem with you bringing your child early, however it is difficult for me to watch your child after 6 pm because I have to take my children to games, or classes, etc.
If my child gets sick, would you give him medication?
I currently haven't taken the MAT class needed to administer medicine. Therefore, I can't give your child medicine. However, you are allowed to come to the daycare and give them the medicine yourself.
If my child misses a day, do I still have to pay?
Yes.
Do you let children watch TV?
No. However, I will play nursery rhymes for them to listen to.
